Let’s get ready to rumble!
This November we’re challenging businesses in Scotland to compete in a fundraising battle. Each business will have the whole month to raise as much cash as they can for Finding Your Feet. You can come up with your own idea or get a bit of inspiration here. The main thing is that you have fun. And win. Winning is important.

Why are we doing it?
Well apart from it being a morale-boosting, team-building, smile inducing bonanza for your business… it helps people. Our clubs and activities are designed to promote good mental health and increased fitness in amputees all across Scotland, all the while facilitating friendship and growth. Each time you contribute and every bit of cash you raise means that a person who has lost a limb can have access to things like Counselling, swimming, yoga and much more. Through feedback, we know for a fact that your help changes, and often saves, lives.
The Covid-19 pandemic has hit our charity hard, and we’re sure it’s hit your business too. By organising this challenge, we hope to get many companies involved to make a big impact. Since it’s fundraising rather than a donation, we hope that has less of an impact during these tough times and gives you a good laugh as well.
Why should your business get involved?
People who support charities report that they feel better emotionally, mentally and physically. As a business, you have the chance to make your team feel good and show your customers that you’re a caring company with strong links to the community. Not to mention that you choose your own challenge, so it could be as simple (and satisfying) as a sponsored silence or you could go wild and do a human pyramid in a bath full of beans. We’ll be spurring you on throughout the month as well as highlighting your challenge on our social media platforms.
Oh, and there are prizes at stake here too…
We’ll be updating a fundraising league table every week throughout the month so you can see exactly how you’re doing. As well as that, there will be a crown for the most creative and bizarre fundraising idea. That means TWO winners. The winning businesses will receive the following…
- A talk for your business from our amazing Founder & motivational speaker, Cor Hutton.*
- A certificate of thanks and the FYF fundraising cup to display for a year.
- A shoutout on our social media to our network of 18,000 followers once a month for three months, as well as a mention in our latest newsletter that hits the inboxes of 4,000 people.
- Bragging rights, of course.
