Bookings for our Calvert adventure weekend are now closed. If you’ve been lucky enough to get your name down and will be joining us, have a look below for the details.
Just like last time, we’ve managed to work a little bit of magic to get some discount for Troopers and family members so for 3 days & nights with accommodation, food and activities included, the cost will be £330 per person.

Where?
Once again we’ll be staying in the fantastic, fully accessible outdoor centre in The Lake District. You’ll get the chance to try activities you’ve never done before including, abseiling, horse riding, zip lining, tree top challenges or bush craft, to name a few. For anybody going again, we’ll be selecting different activities so it’s not a repeat of last time. Come along and overcome challenges and experience the benefit of the great outdoors as a Trooper group, in this stunning location.
When?
We have booked 20th – 23rd September 2024. We’ll arrive on the Friday and leave on Monday mid-morning.
Who?
Everyone’s welcome to come along, it really is a family friendly weekend! The venue is suitable for all abilities and ages.
What do you need to know?
The all-inclusive trip includes all chosen activities, accommodation, and meals, including daily cooked breakfasts. You will also have time to socialise and swim in a heated pool in the evenings. The pool was very popular with our guys last time, with a music and light system which thrilled us all. There is also a tuck shop on site in the games room. Rooms will be shared (the majority take 2 people although many are able to accommodate 3) and we will look, where possible, to make sure you’re with your family / friends.
The costs
Due to funding from Calvert, FYF have been able to offer discount for everyone booking which allows us to provide the incredible price below. If you’d like to make a payment towards your trip or have not paid your deposit yet, please use the form below. We’ll update you with the final payment date soon.
- Deposit is £75 per person required at time of booking (non-refundable).
- Balance £255 per person and will be due at a set date prior to the trip. (non-refundable)
