Christmas Fundraising
As the only charity in Scotland doing what we do to support those who have lost limbs through cancer, diabetes, sepsis, addiction, road accidents and more, our service has become vital to people of all ages and backgrounds.
Christmas represents a time of joy for many, but for us – with grants and sponsorship slowing down – it’s always a push to keep delivering support to amputees. The season also sees a lot of people we work with struggling with loneliness and stress, meaning we have to double our efforts. We’ve put together a little poem to encourage you to donate this Christmas, as well as some other ways to get involved below.
“I don’t think I would be here if it wasn’t for Finding Your Feet…” – Andy’s Story
Host A Festive Jumper Day
We’re looking for companies to get involved in our Festive Jumper Day and bring some cheer to the office while raising cash for amputees. If that sounds like fun to you, please get in touch with zoey@findingyourfeet.net for a little bit more info.
Alternative Gift Giving
Are you considering what to get your loved ones for Christmas? Why not get them the best gift of all – sharing kindness and support. Our Alternative Gift Giving ranges from ÂŁ5 – ÂŁ40 and helps us pay for amputees to come along to meet ups which reduce isolation, getting to our gym sessions which encourage positive physical wellbeing, and more.
And with that, our list is over. Do you have any money left for presents?? On a serious note, thank you so much for even considering supporting us this Christmas. We promise we’ll keep changing the lives of amputees and championing their voices.
