As the only charity in Scotland doing what we do to support those who have lost limbs through cancer, diabetes, sepsis, addiction, road accidents and more, our service has become vital to people of all ages and backgrounds.
Christmas represents a time of joy for many, but for us – with grants and sponsorship slowing down – it’s always a push to keep delivering support to amputees. The season also sees a lot of people we work with struggling with loneliness and stress, meaning we have to double our efforts. We’ve put together a little poem to encourage you to donate this Christmas, as well as some other ways to get involved below.

It’s our biggest raffle yet! We have absolutely loads of exciting prizes up for grabs – including a luxurious two-night staycation for up to six people at The Auchenhean Pods with a private hot tub! Christmas Fayre
Santa’s coming to the FYF Charity Hub this December, and he’s bringing presents! We’ll have incredible local market stalls, games, a raffle, music, food, and drinks. Entry is free, all we ask is that you register so we know how many to expect. For a visit to Santa’s Grotto, it’s £10. Book via the page below.
Host A Christmas Jumper Day
Our FYF Christmas Jumper Day is taking place on Friday December 8th and we want you to get involved! So what do you have to do?Â
You can simply ask your staff to dig out their best festive knitwear and give a donation or make a donation from your business itself. If you want to go bigger, why not have some Christmas games, music and food? Add in a raffle or tombola and you’ve got a pretty decent staff party – and all for a good cause so you don’t feel guilty about indulging! Just remember to send us your pics.Â
The business that raises the most, as well as the business with the best photo will both get personalized Christmas videos from our Founder Cor posted on our social media!
Get in touch with eilish@findingyourfeet.net to find out more and get prepared.
And with that, our list is over. Do you have any money left for presents?? On a serious note, thank you so much for even considering supporting us this Christmas. We promise we’ll keep changing the lives of amputees and championing their voices.
