Team Kili

April 2, 2018

Corinne Hutton, 48, completed her ascent of the highest free-standing mountain in the world on Friday 5th October and is believed to be the first female quadruple amputee to do so. Cor and her amazing team of Trekkers have raised nearly £40,000!  She is now known around the world for her awesome achievement!

Scroll down for a selection of photos from their trek and safari, then a video compilation of lead guide Julius translating a message of thanks from Cor, the porters singing & dancing, which kept the trekkers going through the hard times, some clips showing just how hard the walk was for Cor at times, a particularly hard time not long after the 2am start on the final ascent to the summit and some views from the bus driving through Africa.

You can read Cor’s Kili blog here.
