Fundraising Support

So you’d like to fundraise for us?

If it wasn’t for our amazing fundraisers, we wouldn’t be able to support the amputee community the way we do, so from all on the FYF team and all our Troopers – THANK YOU!

The main fundraising platforms we recommend using are JustGiving or Facebook, as both are simple to use and donations come directly to the charity, you can find out all you need to know about both platforms below.

Those who are happiest are those who do the most for others.

JustGiving Page

Having a JustGiving Page is the easiest way to fundraise and setting up a page could not be simpler. Just click here to get started and then follow these 5 simple steps:

Step 1
Click the orange ‘Fundraise For Us‘ button.

Step 2
This will then give you the option to sign in or create a JustGiving account if you haven’t already.

Step 3
Once you are logged in you will see a ‘What are you doing‘ page. Select whatever is most appropriate to what you are doing and click start.

Step 4
You should then have a list of fields to fill out, simply work your way through them, then click ‘Create Your Page‘ and you’re basically done! (remember to allow your page to claim gift aid!)

Step 5
To customise and personalise your page you just need to click your ‘Edit Page‘ button which will then open up four options – edit, media, donations and settings. This is the perfect way to let your friends and family know what you’re up to and increase your donations.

We will receive a notification when your page has been set up and will be in contact with you within 7 days. If you don’t hear from us in that time or need any help setting up your page, customising it, writing your blurb or just want a hand with the fundraising, please contact our Events Coordinator Eilish, who’ll be more than happy to help.

Facebook Fundraiser

A Facebook fundraiser is a simple but effective way to support us. You can set up a Facebook fundraising page by clicking here. We also have our great Facebook Group especially for our Fundraisers where you can share ideas and progress and where we’ll post about upcoming fundraising opportunities. Click here to join.
