We have been contacted by a Clinical Psychology student at Lancaster University. She is looking for help with a study into Phantom Limb Pain and hopes this study will help to inform what psychological support is needed for phantom limb pain and how to make existing interventions more beneficial.
Study title: Experiences of coping with and adjusting to phantom limb pain following amputation.
In order to do this, I am looking to interview 10 people with lived experience of phantom limb pain. The interviews will last approximately an hour, and will be carried out via Microsoft Teams, telephone or in some cases face-to-face. These interviews will be audio recorded and transcribed, with all identifying information being removed to maintain participant confidentiality.
