Six Finding Your Feet Troopers, as well as a team of fundraisers, are taking part in a skydive on the 3rd of September.
They’ll be taking on an entry-level tandem skydive with the help of an experienced instructor, exiting the aircraft from 10,000ft above the ground, and experiencing 30 seconds of free fall at speeds of up to 120 miles per hour.
We asked Barbara how she’s feeling about her first skydive…
Barbara Poole
“I am doing this skydive to raise awareness and much-needed funds to support a great charity. FYF, they support amputees both physically and mentally. I also want to raise awareness of vascular disease and the great team of Ward 12 at Ninewells Hospital.
I think the skydive is a perfect ending to everything I have been through this past year, and raising some cash is a bonus.”
