Cor on Good Morning Britain 2019

Cor recently made her fourth appearance on Good Morning Britain! She spoke about sepsis, being award the a British Citizenship Medal and becoming the first Scottish recipient of the procedure.

During the chat, Cor spoke about her 5-year wait for the double hand transplant:

“The problem for me was when I was ill with sepsis six years ago, I had 25 blood transfusions and that gave me 25 sets of antibodies that they couldn’t have in the donor. So that’s what made me a hard match.”

Presenter Kate Garraway then shook hands with Cor in a powerful moment. Kate was stunned with the grip that Cor had in her hands and even complimented her manicure!
