Alyesha is a third year product design engineering student at the University of Glasgow. Her project is to design a kitchen space suitable for amputees. As part of her research she has asked if any of our Troopers could offer her an insight into the man struggles faced in a kitchen and any techniques adopted to help.
She intends to create an all-inclusive kitchen space that can be adapted to both functional and relaxing needs. You can help her do this by answering the following questions:
1. What do you use your kitchen space for?
2. Do you live in a kitchen adapted to suit your needs? If so, in what way?
3. Do you have any difficulties in the kitchen? If so, what are they?
4. What would you improve with your kitchen space?
5. If your kitchen was better adapted to your needs, would you use it more?
Thank you so much for your co-operation. She would be delighted to share her designs with our Troopers once completed!
