Money Talk

One of the main worries after an amputation is often how you’re going to cope financially. Here’s some of the best places to turn to for information…

Citizens Advice Bureau

CAB can help with lots of different aspects to do with your finances. They can help you suss out what benefits you are entitled to and assist with the application process – we’d highly recommend getting CAB to help you to fill in the application forms rather than doing them yourself.

They also have a helpful Money Map service which extends their advice out to include topics such as housing, grants, reducing bills, food and clothing to name a few. Find your local CAB info here.

Benefits Calculators

If you’d like to see what benefits are available to you, there are many online calculators which can give you an idea.
