Marie left hospital as lockdown started, beginning life as an amputee during a pandemic. Because of all of your support, we adapted our services extremely quickly, meaning Marie and her daughter Shona had the support that every amputee and their family deserve. We’re looking forward to meeting them both in person. ?
“Finding your feet has been a lifeline to me and my mum since joining on 18th May this year. Mum had an AK amputation on 20th January so it was great to have a telephone call from Barbara to discuss any concerns mum had. Mum loves the fortnightly Zoom Ampu-Teas, she’s tried yoga, we’re going to try out some of the exercise videos by the lovely Lynn, and we’re keen to try the pilates out!
