Take on 2k per day this February, and do it your way!

Whether you’re looking to pick up on any New Year resolutions that may have fallen through or you hadn’t set yourself any challenges for the year yet – now is the perfect time to get signed up.

The idea is simple – all you need to do is round up friends, family or colleagues, or even just gather yourself (which can be a struggle at this time of year!), and then decide your preferred method for taking on 2 kilometres (1.25 miles or roughly 3,000 steps) per day through February. In case you didn’t know, the recommended steps per day is 10,000, so this should make the challenge accessible for most – but feel free to make it more difficult for yourself if you wish!

Do it your way…

Whether that’s running, walking, hopping, wheeling, cycling or any other method you fancy… and benefit from fresh air, great exercise and make a difference to the limb loss community.

This is accessible for everyone and we’ve had wheelchair users take on similar challenges in previous years. For wheelchair users looking to measure distance, we recommend using a tracker such as the Strava app (not a sponsor, we just like it’s accessibility!).

As always, the money you raise will go towards supporting amputees across Scotland to promote positive physical and emotional wellbeing.
