Skydive with us!

What’s involved?

We’ll be taking to the skies for these entry-level tandem skydives and we’d love for you to join us! The tandem skydive is the most popular of all skydives – perfect for the newbie adrenaline junkie, as you’ll be strapped to a fully qualified instructor from Skyline Sky Diving who does all the work, leaving you to enjoy the view!

Exiting the aircraft from up to 10,000ft above the ground, you’ll experience approximately 30 seconds of free-fall – skydiving through the air at speeds up to 125 miles per hour. Excited yet?

The costs

If you are paying for the skydive in full yourself

A £70 deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your place and will be paid directly to Skyline Skydive. You will then pay the remaining £280 directly to the airfield on the day of your jump.

We ask that you support Finding Your Feet by raising funds to help us continue changing lives. If you choose to cover the cost of your skydive yourself, every penny you raise through sponsorship will go directly to Finding Your Feet.

If you’d like to take part but can’t cover the cost yourself

A £70 deposit is required when booking to secure your skydive place and is paid directly to Skyline Skydive.
If you’d like to fund your skydive through fundraising, we ask that you raise a minimum of £450 7 days before the event date. Of this, £280 covers the cost of your skydive place, with the rest helping Finding Your Feet.

FYF will handle the balance of your skydive to the airfield directly, so all you need to do is focus on raising those vital funds and enjoying the experience.

To allow you to jump on the day your £450 fundraising target must be reached 7 days before your jump, otherwise you will be asked to pay on the day.

We’ve made a helpful wee video to guide you through setting up your fundraising page below.

Once the deposit is paid…

You will receive an email from Skyline confirming your place for the jump and to arrange the next steps, like sending over your health and safety forms and answering any questions you have.

You will also be contacted by Mia from our Fundraising Team to help you get your fundraising pages set up and start bringing donations in.

Can you take part?

The British Parachute Association (BPA) insist that all participants bring their medical form with them on the day. Whether you need to get the form signed by a doctor depends on the following information.

The first BPA form is Form 115A If you have any of the medical conditions listed on the form, then you must get Form 115B signed by a doctor.

If you do not have any of the medical conditions listed on the form, then you may self-sign Form 115A  and bring that along on the day.

Please print your form and bring it with you on the day –  if you are not able to do this please email  [email protected] and they can post a form out to you.

The airfield will look at each case with any medical concerns individually, so please email them at [email protected] and they can check for you.
With any medical condition – you will also need to have the medical form signed by a doctor.

What ages are allowed?

What are the weight restrictions?

Any person exceeding these weight limits will not be able to complete their tandem skydive.

Tandem skydives have a weight restriction –  14 stone for women and 15 stone for men dependent on the individuals physical fitness, their age and with height/weight being taken into consideration. 70 years and older will require a Doctor’s declaration.
