Blair Drummond Family Fun Day

————————————————————–

We’re going to be in the jungle, the mighty jungle…

On Tuesday 2nd of August (11AM – 3PM) we’re holding our biggest summer event ever. We’re inviting all our Troopers (FYF amputees), their families and all FYF supporters to a fun filled day out at Blair Drummond Safari Park, near Stirling. Lions and tigers and bears – oh my!

A massive part of supporting families affected by amputation or limb absence is encouraging social inclusion and peer support and we want to bring together our Troopers from every corner of the country, many of whom have never met. We hope bringing them, plus their friends and family, together in such a fun location will encourage new friendships and support. There are two ways for you to get involved…

Come Along

We’d love you all to come along and see what we do and how much your support means to FYF and our Troopers. You, your family and your friends can  join the fun and get together with Cor, our volunteers and Troopers from all over the country. Just click the button below to get your tickets – lunch is included!

Sponsor others to attend

If you can’t make it, you can pay for one of the amputees we support to attend. Your kind donation will cover their park ticket, food and all the fun activities we have planned throughout the day. For a little extra you can also pay for them to bring along a registered carer or family member to join the fun with them.

  • Trooper ticket – £20
  • Junior Trooper ticket – £15
  • Trooper plus registered carer / family member – £40
  • Junior Trooper plus registered carer / family member – £35

If you would like to sponsor a Trooper, please click the button below for our sponsorship form.

A wee thanks for all the generous help that made the day…

Thank you to Blair Drummond for the wonderful venue. Arnold Clark Community Fund for sponsoring the marquee. Fox’s deli for their lovely catering. Morrisons, Anchor Mills for their donation of food and water. Spencer Thomson, The Time and Wealth Creator for sponsoring gift bags. Julie from Who Cares? Scotland for lending us their bus. Michelle Wright from Rainbow Crow Face Painting for the cracking face painting. Everyone who generously sponsored our Trooper tickets. And last but not least, our amazing volunteers for their amazing volunteering (especially in that heat!).
