Why this community exists
In 2013, Dr Cor Hutton MBE lost both her hands and feet to sepsis. What she needed was someone who truly understood what life after limb loss was really like. So she built Finding Your Feet. Today we’re Scotland’s only nationwide charity supporting amputees, those born without limbs, and their families.
It’s a swimming session where nobody stares. A gym class where you don’t have to explain yourself. A creative workshop, a yoga class, a day out, a phone call from someone who’s been exactly where you are. It’s our Ampu-Teas, where people sit down over a cuppa and talk about the things only another amputee truly understands.

Whichever you choose, your solicitor will word it properly. Here’s what each one means in plain English.
Your family comes first.
You should look after the people closest to you first. A gift to Finding Your Feet should come from whatever remains once your family and friends are taken care of. There is no obligation to leave Finding Your Feet a gift in your will to use our writing services.
