Abseil the Falkirk Wheel on Sunday 22nd March 2026
Feel on top of the world (literally) by taking on a 100ft abseil from the top of one of Scotland’s most iconic landmarks: the Falkirk Wheel. It’s the world’s first and only rotating boat lift, and it offers views (and a challenge) like no other.
Whether you’re a thrill-seeker, a first-timer or just want to do something extraordinary for a good cause, this one’s for you. With expert instructors guiding you every step (and drop) of the way, all you need is a bit of courage and a reason to say yes.
And what better reason than helping us support people affected by amputation or limb absence across Scotland?
What to expect on the day
You’ll arrive at the Falkirk Wheel and meet the experienced team who’ll get you kitted up and ready to go. After a full safety briefing and harness fitting, you’ll head up to the top of the structure, take a deep breath, and abseil 100ft down to solid ground – with a mix of adrenaline and pure joy guaranteed.
