The Finding Your Feet Firewalk 2022

Up for a hot challenge? Ready to feel inspired? Want to support amputees across the country? Come and walk on fire with us.

What’s it all about?

On Saturday 29th October at our FYF Charity Hub in Paisley, you’ll take part in an incredible mind-shift talk to get you all fired up and give you the mental strength to take on the Firewalk. Although it seems like a quick, daredevil challenge, the feedback we’ve had is that the feeling you get from taking part is genuinely inspiring and often life-changing. You can take part individually but why not rope in some friends or family to join you?

Can I come and not walk on fire?

Anyone who’s a big fearty and doesn’t want to walk the fire can come along and take part in all the other fun activities of the night: a bar, live music, plate smashing, games, raffle, food and much more… including a few surprises. It’s going to be a night to remember!

Why does it matter?

This event will make a massive difference to the support we provide to our Troopers (FYF amputees). The amount we raise through Firewalkers’ fundraising as well as from activities on the night will all go directly to supporting amputees across the country. This is why we ask that Firewalkers commit to raising at least £100 for FYF in the lead-up to the event (more would be lovely of course). There will also be a prize on the night for whoever raises the most!

The easiest way to start your fundraising is via a JustGiving page. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to find our handy video to show you how to get yours set up today.

What’s included with the ticket options?

Join in with all the fun we’ve arranged for the night, and watch the Firewalkers do their thing!

Wee Fearty Ticket (under 18s) – £2.50:

What you need to know on the day…

  • The event will be led by fully qualified Firewalk Instructors.
  • All Firewalkers must arrive no later than 4.30pm to allow time to register.
  • All Firewalkers must complete a waiver form, required for insurance purposes.
  • We don’t have a minimum age requirement for Firewalkers but anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent / guardian who will fill out a waiver on their behalf. We also ask that any children walking the fire are sensible and can follow instruction.

We’ve already had a lot of interest and so are expecting the event to be really well attended. If you want to come along, grab your ticket now, by following this link.
