Join us on Mont Blanc – Alps in August 2025

Looking for something to tick off your bucket list? Why not touch down in three countries in one of the most famous mountain ranges in the world? You’d be staying in beautiful villages and taking in the stunning mountainscape views as you cover over 70km during the 4 days – all while raising money to support amputees.

We’ll be taking this trek on with the help of Breaking Strain who organised the trek where Cor Hutton became the world’s first female quadruple amputee to make the summit of Kilimanjaro in 2018 – so we know first hand how brilliant their expertise is in trek guidance.

There’s limited places available so if you’re interested, find out more info and register your place on their website soon.

What’s involved?

Taking in three countries (France, Switzerland and Italy), the Tour du Mont Blanc Highlights trek takes in some of the best daily hiking sections of the classic route.

This trip involves walking on well-trodden paths and traversing through picturesque Alpine valleys with some steep, challenging sections. With great flight routes from the UK, this makes the trip an ideal fundraising trek.

Fundraising for FYF

These kind of events are huge for our charity to raise the vital funds needed to help us support amputees across Scotland through activities, services and support to benefit fitness, mental health and personal growth. We believe that forming relationships with peers and being part of a group is one of the most powerful ways to reduce isolation, which has been proven to be a contributing factor to life expectancy in the amputee community. Our goal as a charity is to be on hand with some form of support or opportunity for every amputee in Scotland.

We’re asking trekkers to raise a minimum of £1,000 to help us keep it up, and we’re sure knowing the difference you’re making will help your motivation while you take on the challenge!
