The FYF Pet Photo Competition
Has your pet got what it takes to steal the show?
Who doesn’t love sharing pics of their wee loved ones to show off their cute and funny antics? We’re running our second Pet Photo Competition and we’d love to see all of your dogs, cats, horses, parrots, lizards, bunnies, or whatever else you may have – we want to see them all!
How does it work?
- Use the form at the bottom of this page to enter your favourite photo of your pet/pets.
- It’s £5 per entry. You can enter a single pet or multiple pets under one entry for £5, or you can enter each one separately at £5 each and see which one comes out on top!
- Free for Troopers (registered FYF amputees)Â – just be sure to use discount code TROOPER when signing up.
- When filling in the form below, help us get to know your pet with a little bio. We’ll need to know their name & type, but other than that, you can tell us whatever you like. A few ideas to get you started are things like their age, how you got them or a funny story.
- You’ll receive a confirmation email which includes how to set up your JustGiving page. You can then share this on social media, via email, WhatsApp or anywhere else where you can nab some votes for your wee one.
- We’ll showcase their pictures and bios in this gallery here where you can see all the cute entries in one place.
- The competition will go live on Monday 2nd March.
- £1 donated to your pet’s JustGiving page = 1 vote.
- On Monday 30th March at 9am, the pet with the most votes (most £s) will be crowned the winner and their mommy or daddy will receive the cracking prize below…
What’s in it for you?Â
Apart from the feel-good factor of helping support amputees in Scotland, and getting the chance to prove that your pet/pets are, in fact, the cutest to ever exist… the winner will receive a fantastic bespoke painting of their pet from local artist Alex Wright who specialises in capturing animals. Here are some of his fabulous pieces below.
Who will it help?Â
Finding Your Feet exists to make sure no one faces limb loss alone. We create spaces where people can rebuild confidence, look after their well-being and connect with others who truly get it. From swimming and fitness sessions to peer support, counselling and social clubs, our work is about helping people in their community feel supported emotionally, physically and mentally, to believe in themselves again. Thanks for choosing to stand with us.
