The 26-mile, four-day Peru trek included three summits and altitudes of up to 4,200m above sea level – not easy for anyone even before taking into account the prosthetic legs. All of the heroic fundraisers made it to the picturesque Lost City of the Incas – albeit with some taking a slightly different route than planned – and raised over £65,000 for amputees in the process.
